Pator's Blog: Straight from the horses mouth...So to speak.

Last Wednesday I flew to Austin Texas for a wedding in New Orleans. Confused? Ok, well here it goes, my old intern director (Jonathan Bowles) from where I interned at in Louisiana (220power.com) is now a youth pastor at a church in Austin Texas (celebrationchurchtx.com) and his wedding was in New Orleans. So last week I flew out and he actually let me speak to their youth church that night. It was so fun! That was actually the most I had ever preached to at one time, really felt the flow and I believe lives were changed.

The next day Jon had me speak to the interns and they were just such a great bunch! Such worshippers! We then drove to Baton Rouge that day and pretty much hung around Baton Rouge for a few days till the wedding. His wedding was on Saturday July 18th in New Orleans Botanical Gardens and WOW so nice! The weather was great that night too! The ceremony was pretty short but so powerful, yes, I have to admit, I cried a little bit, I always do in weddings – seriously for my wedding it’s gonna be out of control! But anyway back to the wedding – we then proceeded to the reception hall and had some AMAZING Cajun food, I couldn’t tell you what it was because I have no idea what it was! All I know is our waitress girl Jenna kept bringin it! Thank you Jenna of Botanical Gardens in New Orleans.

Sunday after the wedding I spent the day with one of my all time favorite people, ure boy Drew Armitage. We went to the south campus service at Bethany World Prayer Center and I’ll say this, one of the most powerful services at Bethany ever! Pastor Larry broke down in tears at the thought that there are people in the world that have never even HEARD the name of JESUS. There was definitely a deposit in my spirit! We then had lunch with the Bowles family and then I headed back to Texas.
Got to spend some incredible quality time with some incredible people in Houston on my way back to Austin, Joey Bush and Andrea Asbury. Then finally got back to Austin where I hung out for more days and on Wednesday night I preached their youth service once again and once again felt the flow! God is so good! The word was to GO IN! Anyway, that’s a quick summary of my week away, had a blast, hung out with amazing people, met some amazing people, good to be home! Blessings.
